A Beautiful Bird

There is a beautiful bird in the tree in deep dark forest in the night.

It  is a red and small little bird with feathers that have gathers.

It might be a sparrow or a robin can’t be an eagle or a kite.

This bird just sings a song the whole day long and whistles them to.

I like this bird and its songs, It must be a robin.

The people of Goa are so busy, ladies in the markets, selling fish,

 children at school, mothers some at work some cooking too.

Is there any one Idle here sitting and doing nothing?

There are lots of tourists here around

Maybe they love Goa.

There is lots of joy and laughter and everyone is happy

There’s one thing that people don’t like is garbage on the road.

EFFECTIVE STUDY HABITS AMONG STUDENTS

Nowadays the competitive spirit among students is very great .  This spirit encourages creativity and leads to success. The trend of competition is growing day by day and has now reached an unbearable limit. Acute unemployment problem , irrational policy of the Government on reservation, free license to capitation colleges and above all the craze of the parents to make their children only doctors and engineers are mainly responsible for the competitive spirit.

          It is important to have good and effective study habits. If as a student you don’t get good marks you will find it difficult to get into a good college. If you get high marks , it will make you think better of yourself. You gain self-confidence and self-esteem.

          During school days , a student should be punctual and above all be attentive in class. A student must not depend on her classmate to do the work which he has to do. He should train himself to study effectively and consistently.

          In order to face this competitive spirit in school and to achieve success a student should .
